During the visit, our Rector informed Plovdiv Consul General Korhan KÜNGERÜ about the cooperation between Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University and Bulgarian Trakia University. Bilateral meetings were held regarding the cooperation planned to be carried out with our University in the future for the Turks living in the consulate area. Our Rector Prof. Dr. KÖSEOĞLU, who made a statement on the subject, said, "We aim to develop the friendship between Bulgaria, the opening door of Europe, and Turkey, between Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University and Bulgarian Universities. We took the first step within the scope of this goal with Trakia University. In addition to the cooperation we have made in the field of Horse Breeding with the YEPTİM project, which we are the coordinator of, we also plan to carry out studies in the field of Engineering."
