Secondary School Students Met Horses in YEPTIM Project
An event was organized at Dumlupınar Secondary School in Çubuk district, within the scope of European Mobility Week Activities, with the participation of the school administrator, teachers and our students, who are the guarantee of our future. This event aims to raise awareness about energy conservation during European Mobility Week by bringing young riders and students together with equestrian culture. As part of the event, 15 young riders went on a 20-kilometer nature walk.
After the nature walk, students were informed about environmental protection, energy saving, protection of natural resources and health in the garden of Dumlupınar Secondary School. It was aimed to raise awareness about the love of animals by introducing students to horses.
After the school visit, environmental waste around Kızılca Pond, located in the region where Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University is located, was collected by 15 young riders and their horses to raise awareness of nature conservation.
